Abstract

The Qur’an waqf program was implemented with the aim of enhancing community literacy in Qur’anic learning, particularly in Heuleut Village and its surrounding areas, which still face limitations in religious facilities and resources. This program involved the distribution of waqf Qur’ans accompanied by guided activities in reading and understanding the Qur’an, serving as a medium for learning Islamic teachings across various age groups. Through this initiative, it was expected that community members would not only gain access to Qur’anic texts but also develop proper and fluent (fasih) recitation skills and the ability to comprehend its contents.

The results of the program indicate an increase in community participation in religious activities, as evidenced by the growing attendance at places of worship, especially among children and adolescents. Furthermore, the distribution of waqf Qur’ans successfully stimulated greater enthusiasm among residents to actively engage in learning Qur’anic recitation and participating in religious studies.

In conclusion, the distribution of waqf Qur’ans is effective in strengthening Qur’anic literacy, enhancing religious discipline within the community, enlivening places of worship, and fostering stronger social cohesion among community members.

This community service activity aims to enhance students’ awareness and participation in maintaining campus cleanliness and environmental sustainability. The main problem addressed is the low level of student awareness regarding environmental care, as reflected in their lack of concern for cleanliness. The method applied in this program is a participatory and educative approach through observation and documentation. The participatory approach involves students directly in environmental cleaning and management activities, while the educative approach is carried out through socialization and awareness programs about the importance of environmental preservation. The results indicate an increase in students’ understanding, awareness, and participation in maintaining campus cleanliness. This is reflected in positive behavioral changes, where students become more responsible and actively involved in environmental activities. Based on observation and documentation results, this program is considered effective in encouraging positive behavioral change among students. Therefore, participatory and educative approaches can serve as effective strategies to improve environmental awareness among students.

Efektivitas Metode Pengajaran Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa di SDN 03 Kertasura

The effectiveness of teaching methods on elementary school student motivation is the level of success achieved from a particular learning method that is in accordance with the planned learning objectives, student characteristics, and available resources. Effective learning methods will be able to increase students' interest and motivation to learn. Students who have high interest and motivation to learn will more easily absorb learning material and achieve better learning outcomes. The purpose of writing this research is to find out and analyze the implementation of learning activities carried out by KKN students at SDN 03 Kertasura, Kapetakan District, Cirebon Regency. The method used is a qualitative descriptive research method using teaching techniques in two forms, namely teaching activities at school and outside school in the form of tutoring, namely Calistungji (reading, writing and arithmetic). The research results obtained from teaching activities at school during two meetings showed that student motivation in learning had increased. Meanwhile, in the calistung method, the evaluation obtained at each meeting showed that there was an increased level of student motivation obtained from changes in behavior in the affective domain. The recapitulation of absent attendance which increased at each meeting using the calistung method also indicated students' enthusiasm in participating in the learning process.

Sosialisasi Bijak Penggunaan Gadget Pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Gadget use among elementary school students is increasing and has the potential to have negative impacts if not accompanied by adequate understanding and supervision. This outreach activity aimed to educate students at Halimpu 1 Elementary School about the wise use of gadgets and to raise awareness of the importance of managing time and content when using technology. The methods used in this activity included delivering material through visual media (PowerPoint), interactive quizzes, and a drawing lab on the theme "The Dangers of Gadgets." The results showed that students responded positively and actively participated in all activities. The visualization of the material helped improve understanding, while the interactive quizzes encouraged more enthusiastic student participation. The drawing lab served as an effective evaluation tool for creatively assessing student understanding. Furthermore, several students began to demonstrate courage in discussing and sharing their personal experiences related to gadget use, reflecting a change in attitude and initial awareness. Thus, this outreach activity successfully achieved its goal of increasing students' understanding and developing a wise attitude towards gadget use. It is recommended that similar activities be conducted regularly and involve the support of teachers and parents for ongoing guidance.

Pendampingan Implementasi Media Pembelajaran di SDN 1 Kamarang

The limitation of innovative and interactive learning media at Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) 1 Kamarang is a major obstacle to increasing the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. Based on initial observations, most teachers still rely on conventional methods with less varied media, resulting in less engaging learning and leading to low student participation and understanding. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide mentoring to teachers in implementing creative, digital, and contextual learning media appropriate to the needs of elementary school students. The methods used in this activity include socialization, training, direct practice, and evaluation of the learning media implementation results. The activity was carried out in a participatory and collaborative manner so that teachers could actively develop and use the learning media independently. The results of the activity show an increase in teachers' knowledge and skills in designing and utilizing various learning media, both technology-based and non-digital. Furthermore, there was an increase in students’ interest in participating in the lessons. In conclusion, the mentoring for implementing learning media at SDN 1 Kamarang is very important to support a more effective, engaging, and meaningful learning process. This activity also strengthens the capacity of teachers to present adaptive learning relevant to the times.

Pendampingan Pengelolaan Sampah Organik melalui Program Komposter dan Penghijauan sebagai Media Edukasi Lingkungan di SDN 2 Durajaya

Organic waste management remains an environmental challenge that requires educational and participatory-based solutions. Organic waste generated from school activities and surrounding environments has the potential to be reused through composting processes. However, limited knowledge and skills in waste management have caused organic waste to remain underutilized. This community service activity aimed to provide assistance in organic waste management through composting and greening programs as an environmental education effort at SD Negeri 2 Durajaya. The activity employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach through several stages, including problem identification, environmental education, composting practices, greening activities, and evaluation. The results showed an improvement in the understanding and participation of school members in sorting and processing organic waste. The simple composting program was successfully implemented as a medium for organic waste management, while the produced compost was utilized to support school greening activities. This activity also encouraged the development of an environmental awareness culture through the active involvement of teachers and students. The assistance program can serve as a sustainable school-based environmental education model.

Proses pendidikan tidak hanya berfokus pada pengembangan aspek kognitif, tetapi juga berperan penting dalam membentuk kepribadian dan arah kehidupan peserta didik. Siswa yang memiliki kemampuan mengenal diri sejak dini akan lebih mudah dalam merancang cita-cita serta menentukan tujuan karier sesuai dengan potensi yang dimiliki. Kesadaran diri (self-awareness) menjadi fondasi utama yang mendukung proses perencanaan masa depan secara lebih terarah. Artikel ini membahas pentingnya penguatan kesadaran diri bagi siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya kelas 5 SDN 2 Cikancas, serta strategi bimbingan konseling dalam membantu siswa mengenal potensi diri. Pendekatan ini diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan motivasi, membentuk perencanaan hidup yang realistis, serta memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam praktik pendidikan. Selain itu, penguatan kesadaran diri juga dapat membantu siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan sosial maupun emosional, sehingga mereka mampu beradaptasi dengan lingkungan secara positif. Dengan demikian, siswa tidak hanya berkembang secara akademik, tetapi juga memiliki bekal untuk merancang mimpi dan tujuan hidup sesuai kemampuan serta arah perkembangan pribadinya

Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru MAN 1 Kuningan Dalam Mengembangkan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Berbasis Game Digital Menggunakan Wordwall

Digital transformation in education has shifted learning paradigms toward more interactive, collaborative, and student-centered approaches. Teachers, as key actors in the learning process, are required to possess adequate digital competencies to effectively utilize educational technologies. However, preliminary observations at MAN 1 Kuningan revealed that most teachers still relied on conventional instructional media such as static presentations and worksheets, while the use of game-based interactive learning media remained limited. This condition affects the diversity of learning strategies that can enhance students’ engagement and motivation. This community service program aimed to improve teachers’ competencies in developing interactive game-based learning media using the Wordwall platform. The program was conducted in May 2026 and involved 22 teachers from various subject areas. The implementation methods included needs assessment, training, workshops, mentoring, and evaluation through pretest-posttest assessments. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in teachers’ competencies, with average pretest scores increasing from 45.8% to 93.4% in the posttest, representing a 47.6% improvement. Furthermore, participants successfully developed six game-based learning media products that are ready for classroom implementation. The findings indicate that systematic training and mentoring effectively improve teachers’ digital competencies, technological literacy, confidence, and motivation in developing innovative technology-based learning media.

Sosialisasi Pendidikan Etika Untuk Pembentukan Karakter Anak Usia Dini di Kelurahan Larangan, Kabupaten Cirebon

Abstract

Children's character is an important foundation that needs to be shaped from an early age through the consistent instillation of ethical values from the family environment and society. This community service activity aims to provide ethics education socialization as an effort to build character in early childhood in Larangan Village, Cirebon. The activity involved 11 children aged 5 to 7 years as participants, using a descriptive qualitative research approach. Data collection was carried out through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with parents and companions, as well as activity documentation. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the activity showed an increase in understanding and changes in behavior in the aspects of honesty, responsibility, courtesy, empathy, and discipline after participating in a series of socialization activities packaged through storytelling, role-playing, and habituation. This activity proves that participatory and enjoyable educational methods are effective in instilling ethical values in early childhood. Socialization of this kind needs to be carried out sustainably by involving parents and community leaders so that the character values instilled can be consistently internalized in children's daily lives.

Integrasi AI Literacy dan Prompt Engineering dalam Penguatan Kompetensi Digital Santri Mahasiswa di Pondok Pesantren Annida Cirebon

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed various sectors, including education and entrepreneurship. However, the utilization of AI in Islamic boarding schools remains limited due to inadequate digital literacy and practical skills in applying AI technologies. This community service program aimed to enhance AI literacy among university students at Annida Islamic Boarding School, Cirebon, through training on AI Literacy, Prompt Engineering, Digital Marketing, and Business Mapping. The program employed a Participatory Training approach involving 50 participants through needs assessment, instructional sessions, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. The evaluation was conducted descriptively through observation, assessment of practical assignments, and participant reflections throughout the program. The results demonstrated that participants were able to understand fundamental AI concepts, develop more effective prompts, utilize AI to create digital marketing content, and design a simple Business Model Canvas. Furthermore, participants showed active engagement and enthusiasm during the training sessions. The program indicates that practice-oriented AI training is an effective approach to improving AI literacy and digital competencies among university students, equipping them to adapt to technological developments in the Society 5.0 era.

Pentingnya Penerapan K3 dalam Penanganan dan Pencegahan Kebakaran di SMK Negeri 1 Cirebon

Technology and engineering vocational high schools carry a higher fire risk than general schools because practicums involve open flames, high-power electrical equipment, and flammable materials. A preliminary survey at SMK Negeri 1 Cirebon revealed limited knowledge of fire classification and extinguishing media, unscheduled extinguisher maintenance, incomplete evacuation signage, and the absence of an emergency response team. The outreach was held on 13 February 2026 to improve the school community's knowledge and skills in fire safety implementation. The activity was evaluated using a descriptive qualitative method. The population comprised 65 twelfth-grade students of classes XII A and XII B, all participating; the sample was 12 purposively selected informants. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussion, and documentation, then analysed using the Miles and Huberman model and validated through source and technique triangulation. The findings show a shift from the misconception that water suits every fire towards selecting media by fire class, greater accuracy in the extinguisher operating sequence after repeated practice, and stronger awareness of the need for an emergency response team. Fire safety in vocational schools requires continuous cultural embedding, not merely the provision of protection facilities.

Pendampingan Penyusunan Proposal Skripsi Berbasis Identifikasi Research Gap untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Karya Ilmiah Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir

Final-year students often encounter difficulties in preparing thesis proposals, particularly in identifying research gaps, developing a coherent background, and determining research topics that meet academic standards. These challenges affect the quality of the proposals and may delay the completion of their studies. This community service program aimed to improve students' competence in preparing thesis proposals based on research gap identification to enhance the quality of their academic writing. The program was implemented through mentoring activities consisting of lectures, interactive discussions, proposal-writing practice, and evaluation using pre-tests and post-tests. The participants were final-year students preparing their thesis proposals. The results indicated an improvement in participants' understanding of identifying research gaps, developing systematic research backgrounds, formulating research problems, and selecting relevant research topics. In addition, participants became more active during discussions and were able to produce better-structured proposal drafts. Therefore, this mentoring program proved effective in strengthening students' competence in thesis proposal preparation and can serve as an academic support strategy to improve the quality of scientific writing in higher education.

Penyuluhan Digital Marketing dan Strategi Pemasaran Wisata Bahari: Jalur Mangrove, Edukasi Mangrove, dan Produk Kuliner Perikanan di Desa Grogol

The MICIL marine tourism area in Grogol Village, Gunung Jati District, has key assets including mangrove ecosystems, fisheries activities, brackish-water ponds, and fishery-based processed products. Its development still faces constraints related to road access, shell-waste management, consistency of digital promotion, and product-packaging improvement for local microenterprises. This community service program aimed to strengthen the capacity of tourism managers and local business actors through asset mapping, digital marketing assistance, mangrove education, environmental management, and product-packaging development. The program applied an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach covering asset and problem identification, participatory planning, implementation, and descriptive evaluation. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, documentation, and a facility-evaluation sheet. The activities produced an asset and priority map, directions for content- and route-based digital promotion, mangrove-planting education, and improved packaging for blue swimming crab crackers using standing pouches and labels. Facility evaluation indicated that road access and parts of the mangrove bridge still require improvement, while existing rest shelters can support family-tourism and local-culinary packages. Further development should integrate digital promotion, mangrove conservation, shell-waste management, local-product strengthening, and cross-stakeholder collaboration supported by measurable visitor and sales indicators.

REVITALISASI EDUCAFE OLEH MAHASISWA DAN DOSEN MELALUI PENGECATAN ULANG GUNA MENINGKATKAN KENYAMANAN LINGKUNGAN AKADEMIK KAMPUS INSTBUNAS

The declining visual quality of the Educafe area at INSTBUNAS Campus, particularly the dull, dirty, and faded floor pathways, served as the primary basis for implementing this community service activity. This condition diminished the aesthetic value and comfort of the environment, thereby limiting the optimal use of Educafe as a space for discussion, interaction, and academic activities. The methods employed in this activity included field observation, activity planning, preparation of tools and materials, and repainting of the floor pathways involving students and lecturers. The results demonstrated improvements in the cleanliness, neatness, and visual appearance of the Educafe area, creating a more attractive and comfortable environment for use. The activity also fostered greater awareness among the academic community regarding the maintenance and care of campus facilities. Therefore, the revitalization of the Educafe area through repainting the floor pathways had a positive impact on the quality of the campus environment and supported the optimal utilization of Educafe as a space for interaction and academic activities. This activity demonstrates that simple improvements to campus facilities can effectively enhance the comfort, aesthetics, and functionality of shared spaces.
