Abstract

The problem faced by the community in Kondangsari RT 16 RW 06, Vila Kondangsari Village, Beber District, West Java Regency, in this study is a lack of awareness of the potential surrounding them that can be utilized as additional resources for community education in Vila Kondangsari. As a solution, a Community Tutoring program was implemented in the village. The objectives of this BIMBEL program are: 1) Increasing community awareness of the importance of knowledge; 2) Creating quality, character-based, creative, and innovative human resources; 3) Encouraging and motivating children to have a passion for learning and achieve. The results of this BIMBEL program are children's enthusiasm in participating in these activities. Furthermore, the BIMBEL program also provides assistance to students who experience difficulties in completing practice questions given at school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with observation techniques. The tutoring program (bimbel) implemented by students as part of the Community Service Program (KKN) can be an effective strategy to increase children's learning motivation in urban and rural areas. This article describes the background, implementation model, expected results, and recommendations for implementing the KKN tutoring program in Villa Kondang Sari Village with the support of findings from several related studies.
