Efektivitas Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe GI Dan TPS Terhadap Literasi Sains Peserta Didik

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan membandingkan efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) dan Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik kelas X pada materi energi terbarukan di MAS Madani Pao-pao. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen menggunakan desain Pretest–Posttest Two Experimental Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas eksperimen yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Multi Stage Random Sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda literasi sains yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Group Investigation memperoleh nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,2950 dengan kategori rendah, sedangkan model Think Pair Share memperoleh nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,5748 dengan kategori sedang. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,635 > 0,05, sehingga tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara penggunaan model pembelajaran Group Investigation dan Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik. Dengan demikian, kedua model pembelajaran tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik.
