High feed costs are the main obstacle in poultry farming. Maggots, or Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae, are chosen as an alte rnative because they are rich in protein and capable of decomposing organic waste. The community service activity was carried out through training on maggot cultivation using lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. Farmers were taught techniques for preparing media, maintaining larvae, harvesting, and processing maggots into fresh feed as well as powder. The results showed that farmers were able to produce maggots independently and use them as chicken feed. The use of maggots proved to reduce feed costs, improve chicken growth, and minimize organic waste. Thus, maggots serve as an economical and sustainable solution for poultry farming.
